Hello, Quilting World!

We are back online and have our new website up and running! This is a constant work in progress, so please bear with us as we get our products back online. In the meantime, check out a word from Lora!

Hello Everyone,

It has been quite a while since I touched base with you all. We have added quite a few patterns to our Stable Piecing line. We are still waiting on our patent. We had a booth at Paducah in April and had a grand time. We were busy enough that we didn’t get to see the quilt exhibits. Many of you came by our booth to say “Hi”. We really appreciated seeing familiar faces.

We have been doing spring cleaning and getting ready for some sales. We have some patterns and small kits that are going on sale for 25% off. They will be marked with a red dot.

Also, all our books are going to be 25% off as well. This will begin now and run through July or while supplies last.

We will be eliminating our garment patterns as well. They will also be 25% off until they are gone.

We have had quite a bit of difficulty with our website since the first of the year. It has been a nightmare and I keep doing things that make it more difficult and don’t even realize what I am doing. Please bear with us as we sort through all the problems and get them solved one by one.

My youngest daughter graduated from Kaskaskia College and is getting ready to move on to Carbondale to finish her degree in Agriculture Economics and Communications. I think I have the degree names right, if not, it is close enough. My oldest daughter graduated from Greenville College with her bachelors degree in Graphic Design. She also got married two weeks after graduation. It was an outdoor wedding and the day was beautiful. Life is moving along at a much faster pace than I really would like. But, since I can’t slow it down, I might as well hang on tight and enjoy the ride.

I have been doing trunk shows at guild meetings and sometimes having an afternoon workshop on whatever Stable Piecing pattern is chosen. I always have a great time teaching and listening. I come home with new ideas, needed changes, as well as suggestions to make things even better. If your guild would like to know more about Stable Piecing and/or schedule a trunk show/workshop please contact me and we will work out the details. You don’t have to be a guild, just a group of interested sewers/quilters, and I will come to you or you can come to me.

See you soon,   Lora

This is the new form of our monthly newsletter. We will still post updates and, of course, stories from the shop! Keep in touch for more!
